Meet Ariane!
Ariane Arghyris Rancarani is a 30 year old non-binary illustrator and portraitist based in Beaujolais, France (near Lyon).
They work traditionally with acrylics, inks, and pencils, from their very small home studio. Ariane is self-taught, and they believe that this is why they are so assertive when it comes to communicating through visual arts.
Their work is mostly centered around portraiture, and is distinctive by its softness, whimsy, and impactful colours.
In 2025, Ariane started a Patreon, as well as continuing to expand their Youtube and Instagram.
They are now working on a series of portraits and new picture book ideas.
