As an artist who works with different mediums, I like to keep my sketchbooks organized and separate. I work in multiple sketchbooks at a time, which all serve different purposes.

My Secret Sketchbook is the place I go to scribble, overlap doodles and words, where I put my ideas so raw that I tend to not share them with the world - I do have a Patreon on which people can to access this private realm.

My watercolor sketchbook is the one I try more polished illustrations, and test out color palettes. It’s the step right before taking out a piece of watercolor paper and doing a finished illustration. I used to feel very shy in this sketchbook, so recently I started forcing myself to turn one doodle a day from my Secret Sketchbook into a more polished piece in my watercolor sketchbook. The rhythm of it has been nice and freeing. I work mostly with watercolors, watercolor ink, acrylic ink and acrylic gouache in this sketchbook.

My travel sketchbook is the sketchbook that I will take if and when I travel, to record the highlights of my journey. Between 2024 and 2025, I was lucky enough to travel more than I had in the past, and visited London, and then New York. These travels were turned into a personal little story in my Travel sketchbook - of which you can see a sketchbook tour here.
